    There are some covers that go beyond the original recording. We know that and probably have some favorites.
    Stumbled on this recently. It is a cover of a Dylan song and to me it is the essence of grief. So simple...

    W.A. Mozart's Requiem, rendition by the Vienna Chamber Choir and the Vienna Opera Orchestra.

    I am not a big Mozart enthusiast, but this one is hard to beat. Especially the Kyrie and Dies Irae.

    Was listening to that last night on CBC Radio...along with Vivaldi's the four seasons...thanks!
