@Grazor, i friggin' LOVE 16 Horsepower, and DEE. One of the best shows I ever saw was a Woven Hand show with a tiny crowd, pic below shows where my buddy and I were standing, pretty nice proximity lol.

INTENSE. DEE exudes a flippin' energy field around him or something, the whole crowd was buzzing. Hard to explain. After each song my friend and I could only look at each other and shake our heads with our jaws dropped. At the end of this show, strangers were hugging, I kid you not. Crazy. My buddy had seen 16 Horsepower a number of times, and told me about a show where he felt like DEE was staring at him through the whole show. He figured he was just a little "paranoid" as he'd been partaking of a green leafy substance as he was a college student at the time and that's what you do when you're a college student . Then, after that show he had people coming up to him and ask him why DEE was staring at him through the whole show...

I happened to stumble upon this and I must say that I'm very impressed with her and not only because of her talent but because of her lack of knowing how talented she is.

I may be way off base, but she reminds me very much of Aretha Franklin's 'sound'.

With a voice like that, this should have been posted in the Pipe of The Day thread.

    Now you're talking!

Not much for most pop or what have you singers, male or female. But Simone, Ertha Kitt and Lena Horne do it for me.

First saw her videos a year ago. Go back to them every so often to remind me of what a wonder a human can be. I really think, tho, that she is unknowingly channeling singers such as Edith Piaf and many unknown soul singers. I'm curious to see what she sounds like when she grows up.
