    I loved the way Sweets played. A nice mix of Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, and Clark Terry.

    Well since you haven't posted a link to any music of the style that you like, here's a link to an album that I enjoy. Two totally different styles blending together/I hope all will enjoy :

    Sorry gents, I didn't realize this forum expected "Links" to all the music. That's going to be tough for me because most of my Jazz albums are rare, and you aren't going to find links to them on Youtube. But a few you can.

    Here is Harry "Sweets" Edison - Sweets;

    Currently listening to Oscar Peterson plus 1 (the plus 1 is Clark Terry)

    Aloha cudarunner!

    No worries. All of the Jazz forums I'm on we just post pictures of the albums we are playing, not links to Youtube, but if I can find the album on Youtube, I'm happy to post it.

    I love many genres of music from Jazz to Blues to Bluegrass to Rock to Classical, but Jazz is my serious passion. I'm glad to share my albums. I'll just add this forum thread to my others when I post my playlists.

    A classic.

    Art Blakey - Moanin' (RVG Edition) - RVG is Rudy Van Gelder, the legendary Jazz recording engineer

    What I like about this particular album is the title cut "Moanin" is the first cut and you get to hear the banter before the recording starts between RVG and the band members. Again, it's a classic.

    My friend, if you were to visit here you would find many different kinds of music, there are some that I can listen to for hours but then there are those that I can only take for so long (I did listen to the entire first album link that you posted but I don't remember the name of the artist but I did enjoy it.

    Thanks again for posting links
