I've been missing Scotland terribly lately. Not just because it has been too long since I've visited my home away from home, but also because my fiancée and I are planning a wedding with definite Scottish overtones. So to continue what Roy started with Clanadonia, here are the Corries doing their thing with a Lord Byron poem.
And Dougie MacLean...
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I enjoyed both of those videos. Especially the last one.
While not perhaps the most 'Traditional Performance, I do hope you will enjoy this:
On a side note:
A Scotsman walks into a Library in Scotland and asks the wee librarian if there are any books on suicide.
To which she says; Of course, but I'll not show em to ya.
The man asks her why and she says;
Cause y'll not fookn bring em back!

Absolutely love Runrig. Their "Once in a lifetime live" album is one of the all-time great live albums IMHO.

Thanked: 603Lana Del Rey -- "Old Money" (Ultraviolence)
I've been listening to her... a lot... these past couple of months -- her slow, soft, dreamy stuff. And, out of six or seven, this one -- "Old Money" -- is, by far, my favorite. It's late-night stuff... scotch, wine... whatever... low lights.
The full playlist (Song/Album):

Cruel World (Ultraviolence)

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Thanked: 556Stevie Ray Vaughn
Prime video has a great documentary on Stevie and I started binge watching videos of his performances. Forgot how truly talented he was.
