    Joe Diffie passed away today from the Corona virus.

    While he was know as more of a traditional sounding artist who at times wrote 'quirky' tunes, he also did this cover of Stevie Ray Vaughn's Pride and Joy;

    Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

    This is the first I've heard of it. That is sad news.
    I'm a 90's kid so I remember hearing a lot of his music on the radio. Enjoyed his style of music and the quirky songs. Pickup Man and Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox were country anthems.

    Feeling like we could all use something to help us smile. This usually does the trick for me. Stay well friends...

    It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
    This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    Default Sad Day

    I just learned that John Prine has passed away from this virus that's amongst us.

    Here's a favorite of mine done live:

    Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

    Accordion you say--

    If I'm not mistaken, this is the tune that got him started. I first heard it on the Dr, Demento show--

    Back in '99 he played near here and although I was working out of town the night of the show, I got tickets for my wife and kids, my son was 6 and his sister was 9.

    The wife said it was the loudest show she'd ever been to. She also said it was a great show and she'd highly recommend others to see a show if they could. I picked up a DVD of that tour and the wife said it was just like the show she'd seen.

    ANY reason to listen to the genius that is Weird Al is a good reason.
