A close family friend used to live in NYC, and she travelled in his social circle on occasion. She tells me that he was an incredibly humble and likeable guy. His friends simply called him "Meat."

It seems from my memory only Belushi and Kennison were more inclined to go code red during a performance than these 2.

Took a while to warm up to bat out of hell way back when, but after a few spins on the tt it was obvious it would be a classic album. Would have warmed quicker if it had been a Harley chop on the cover...
