I was listening to a "matched pair" this evening: Hank Locklin's "Fraulein" (1957), and Kitty Wells' reply "(I'll Always Be Your) Fraulein" (1957).

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I grew up on rock and blues but I also grew up on old country because I worked for my dad many years and they would listen to country music then.

Here is a band I recently found. I enjoy them a lot. From Germany and reminds me of DragonForce.

    It's just Sharpening, right?

That dude has got some pipes!

Thanks for putting this in my head Jerry

Which then reminded me of this...

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Glad you guys enjoyed them. Just remember that if you ever meet up with me I carry my music collection with me and I'm happy to share.

That Henry Rollins story about Iggy Pop is a classic. I like both of them very much.

Townes Van Zandt has been an influence on many artists today. We share the same b-day but he passed away some time back. What's funny is there was a guy named Blaze Foley who was shot and killed, but he had Townes guitar and had pawned it so they went and dug him up to get the pawn ticket so he could get his guitar back. I have known this because I read it but he mentions it in this video around 9 minutes into it. I love his music.
