Happy Birthday Stevie Ray Vaughan ~ October 3, 1954-August 27, 1990
On the morning of August 26, 1990, Vaughan told his band and crew members about a horrible nightmare in which he was at his own funeral and saw thousands of mourners. He felt "terrified, yet almost peaceful.
Very early the next morning a helicopter he was on board crashed just moments after take off & he was gone forever!

Glen Campbell - These Days.
Was at the gym earlier today, walking around the track, and this song came up in my weird and wide playlist.
What a great talent Glen Campbell is, sometimes it's great to hear stuff you haven't heard in a while.

But then I figured I'd show what she could do with the same song about 38 years later (if the poster's dates are correct)

And then I stumbled upon this that's only about 31 years later and she blew me away!!! I seriously doubt that any will take the time to spend TWO HOURS watching her strut her stuff!
It's been said that 'Sex Sells' and I believe that Tina Turner either thought of it in the first place or brought it to a whole new dimension! :y

One for TaipeiJake...Charlie Musselwhite and Ben Harper, two legendary musicians...
Oh how I miss these guys. I used to count on a regular injection of evenings spent live with the Rheos to keep the spirits up. While they're officially gone now, it does my heart good to know that on very special occasions, they still get together and make beautiful music.

No she's not 'Jimi' and while she's 'Not Unpleasant To Look At', she's got some talent and I appreciate her 'talents'. :tu

Simple Mind's fifth studio album 'New Gold Dream' (released 1982) and for me their best album ever.
Brings back so many memories when I was in my late teens. They gave some of the best live concerts.
Just one of the many songs that makes this album flawless.

Here's a little Boogie from back in the day not long after a time when people were still expecting him to play his Daddy's songs and play them just like his Daddy/didn't happen! Walked his own path, paid tribute to Daddy but basically made music 'his way'. :tu
