Breaks a string mid solo and doesn't miss a beat. SRV was in fact a beast!

SRV was so bad ass he could dress like a gay pirate out in public and no one said anything. And BB King, jeepers, talk about two guitar gods on one stage!

I agree 100%! What a God given talent! He couldn't read music and when he wrote a song he'd ask what key it was in!

If you watch the Austin City DVD's of his two performances you will see two totally different performers!

In the first he'd just hit the national scene and was strung out on drugs and alcohol and had something to prove!

In the second one, he was clean and sober and was just having fun!!

That should be the one when he breaks the high e-string and if you watch they've got his guitar replaced and he only misses one chord!

He left this world far too soon and what a freak accident it was!

As his brother Jimmie said: "The world misses his music, I just miss my brother".

While this is a home video I hope all will enjoy seeing how talented he was all those years ago and had not made the national scene!

He's playing Collins Shuffle that was for Allen Collins!

Always wanted to play guitar but there were two major problems. First I haven't the coordination and manual dexterity required and second I don't have an ounce of aptitude for it. I'm waiting for the day they can upload stuff into your brain with a stick drive. My first request will be to be able to play guitar like SRV.
