What Whisky are you sippin while reading this thread?

I thought I would ask the question because I have a modest glass of 12 year old Glenlivet in front of me and it just the thing for me on this cold winters night. I just love its long finish

12 YO Glenlivet is a nice Scotch. I am not sipping now but will be after I shower and shave. I'll probably have a bit of Macallan, probably 18YO.

picked up a bottle of McClaands(?) speyside. Not bad(like I have so much experience w/single malts). Harsher than the canadian whiskey I grew up on. Thought it was cool that it was cork stopped rather than screw top.

None at the moment, too early in the day for that, but I do appreciate the best whisky in the world, Penderyn, on special occassions. As a regular, more affordable sup I appreciate Jim Beam Rye whisk(e)y the most, but any of the better Bourbon Whiskeys tend to my taste. It must be the Welsh blood in my veins. Scotch just tastes like metholyted spirits to me.

None at the moment, but when the urge strikes me, I go for the Wild Turkey (pref 101 proof) or Maker's Mark. Definitely a Bourbon guy, but will partake of the rye in a Manhattan or Old Fashioned too

+1 on this. I just had a nice glass of Woodford Reserve this past week. Or, on the cheap, nothing beats Buffalo Trace.
