Thanked: 993I'd like to mix things up a bit.
I'm recommending either Paderno OR KitchenAid.
I've not had a Peugot that grinded the way I liked. They may very well last a lifetime, however, I like my pepper big....just like if you put some peppercorns on a cutting board and hit them with a cast iron pan.
The Paderno grinders are classy, and can sit on the dining room table.
The KitchenAid grinders are functional, black, and are just awesome!
nun2sharp, good luck in your choice....just make sure you can return whatever you don't like

I took my Peugeot pepper mill with me when I left Belgium nearly 8 years ago. Still going strong. I'm with Gugi. I only fill small quantities at a time and keep the rest vacuum wrapped until needed.
