#2's our "character" as well. He's got an ornery streak in him, and I can't say it doesn't come from me...but my wife can't say it doesn't come from her either. We've both got ornery/stubborn streaks.

3's the magic number though. We're feeling very content about three; always wanted three, even wanted one girl and two boys and that's what we've been blessed with. We'll see how things develop, but three fit across the back of the truck & SUV easily. Four would mean... minivan

    Peace,

I swear she's 4 going on 16 some days. #2, however, is just plain old stubborn and devious. He has a good streak, but he's got no problems being ornery, especially when he knows he's not supposed to do something. He'll just look at you and smirk, then totter off with his big sister's book or teddy. It's starting to be amusing now, especially when he tackles her. He's less than 10lbs lighter than she is so it's a pretty even match up.
I hear ya talkin' Brothers. I know what you're sayin'. I also would hate to require a mini-van, but we have a large 4WD that caters for the family. I have had to give up any hope of ever owning my Toyota Landcruiser Trayback though. On the plus side in this country there is a Trike builder called 'Oz Trikes' that bring out a bench seat, 3 passenger bike. So I can get one of those down the track for school drop offs etc. I would hate to have to give up my bike for mundane family duties afterall...

A bench seated trike? Wow. I sold my Suz Intruder when the girl came along. We could cruise in my old truck, but not the bike...and we needed to get a family toting car (our other car at the time was a 5spd coupe). We've got a big ole SUV too, which is only a glorified minivan, but hey, it's a 4x4!

Nothing wrong with minivans for those that drive them. As people haulers they really can't be beat. But for my wife and my lifestyle and tastes, a minivan really wouldn't fit. Not that I'd turn down a free one!

I don't have anything against mini-vans. I just don't want one. Mind you Mitsubishy bring one out in 4WD that isn't too bad. The bikes I'm talking about can be seen in the link below. Oz Trike call them the 'Chopper 4' as they seat four people counting the rider. They can be customised in many ways to suit the tastes of the owner. I'm not affiliated with them in anyway, but it is either one of them or a Russian Ural 'Ranger' with a sidecar as my next machine.
