Congratulations to you and your Mrs. !
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Congrats! My wife is due on the 8th with number three. I'm hoping it it's the last. I love my children dearly but number two has pretty much destroyed what little sanity I started with... On the upside, #2 now brings me my phone and the remote. He knows he's not supposed to touch them but figures if he brings them to Papa it is ok. Goofy thing...

I've got three myself, and congrats to you and the missus BigJim, but I have to say my number two child, although handy for getting daddy his mobile 'phone, T.V remote and letting the dog out etc, is also the most frustrating child of all. She is the reason I'm losing my hair I'm sure. You've got to love 'em though...After all, it's against the law to drown 'em !

    Sanity is over-rated anyways.

#2's our "character" as well. He's got an ornery streak in him, and I can't say it doesn't come from me...but my wife can't say it doesn't come from her either. We've both got ornery/stubborn streaks.

3's the magic number though. We're feeling very content about three; always wanted three, even wanted one girl and two boys and that's what we've been blessed with. We'll see how things develop, but three fit across the back of the truck & SUV easily. Four would mean... minivan

    Peace,

    Peace,
It seems that #2 is the off one... My mother frequently reminds me that I'm the reason they didn't have a third child... Both of mine have a stubborn streak the size of Oklahoma but at least #1 generally hides it well and just gives us the occasional bit of sass. I swear she's 4 going on 16 some days. #2, however, is just plain old stubborn and devious. He has a good streak, but he's got no problems being ornery, especially when he knows he's not supposed to do something. He'll just look at you and smirk, then totter off with his big sister's book or teddy. It's starting to be amusing now, especially when he tackles her. He's less than 10lbs lighter than she is so it's a pretty even match up.
