    That is what i use too. It doesn't flake and it smells like old barber shop gel. Better yet it keep short hair in place... I still like three fingers Of skinup the sides and semi business looking flat top. It is getting harder to find these days. I can only get at Walgreens

    My favorite by far is Truefitt and Hill pomade.... unfortunately it's about $10/oz, so I save it for special occasions and use Crew most of the time.

    I just purchased some Imperial Classic Pomade and I am astounded! It is really the best pomade I have ever used. Tames the wildest curls into a nice slick classic look.

    these days I tend to use coconut oil . to slick back my mohawk keeps the flyaways down. washes out and leaves hair really soft. sometimes use brylcream as well.

    for strong hold I use some japanese product that has been manufactured since before america was even a country. no idea of the name. I kinda think its what samurai used to style their hair. could be wrong and it hasnt improved my sword fighting.
