Thanked: 0Pomade
what are you using?
I'm keeping it classic with Murrays. It's cheap, super strong, and the girlfriend loves the smell.

Thanked: 1263I use layrite...water based so it washes out really easily and holds great I've used Murrays and it does work well for a traditional pomade...try using olive oil to help wash it out..it softens the wax up.

My uncle has been using a product from Framesi on my hair, it comes in a variety of strengths and is water based. I generally stick with water based formulas for ease of removal.

Thanked: 13247Although, not "technically" a Pomade I just recently switched to Pinuad's Clubman Hair Gel,,, After using whatever the wife discarded, it was rather nice to have a product made specifically for men...

Thanked: 1185Murrays and DAX High and Tight are both good for moustache use (assuming said stash is not terribly long) After it does grow into a little more pronounced bars, pomade seems a bit too soft and I have to transition to purpose made stash wax (Firehouse, or Oregon Wild Hair.) However, if I had a top knot to manage I would likely continue to use one of the aforementioned pomade products on my head.
The older I get, the better I was

AXE "clean cut look". I'm not sure if its actually a pomade more like a dehydrated hair gel but it works for what I need. Comes right out with water too so it's easy to clean up.

Back when I had liberty spikes I used to use stuff called, iirc, Freestyle. Blue tin at wallymart for cheap. It was waxy but held wonderfully.

Layrite is good stuff with a great smell. I used to use Murrays but switched. The layrite smells great and has a good hold. It doesn't recomb like Murrays but it will hold all day. Oh and it will wash out!!
