The Asian watch market is kinda melting down right now. Buddy of mine up a nice 1985 era Datejust 36mm, told him to drop it into RSC (Rolex Service Center), pay for the service, gets back under warranty and you're the registered owner.

He picked it up from Chrono24 (dot ca version), used a credit card, so funds stay in escrow until you are delivered the watch and can get it checked out. $4,000 Canadian, smoking deal, if you take your time, they're out there.
