Jimmy - do you find that the recoil feels any different with the Bisley grip?
Not that the .357 has bad recoil, but I plan on using it as a hunting gun and every little bit helps with a quick followup shot. I like the lower hammer on the Bisley, and you can get a .357 with a 7-1/2" barrel instead of the 6-1/2".
Sorry about thr autos, the devil made me do it .... As far as the Bisley. Elmer Keith, as you probably know, highly recommended the Bisley grip frame for handguns with heavier recoil. I don't know if it is the size of the hands or what but I find the grip more punishing than the standard Blackhawk grip. I do have large hands. I love the lower hammer spur.

Again, one can hope. You can also crack them in the head with the barrel. That works also. (So I am told)

Here is mine, it's an old S&W k frame that was formally a security company gun.

I did all the smithing on it myself ( including the 40hours of polishing ) with the exception of the barrel fitting.
This gun is set up for PPC and self defense competition.

That's a nice piece of hardware. I keep telling myself I need to get one. I just have too much fun with the Ruger .22lr autos. I have a mkI that my dad bought after I was born. I have a mkIII (hunter model) that I bought after my daughter was born and a Charger I bought after my first son was born.

If I can find pics of my Blackhawks I'll post them. Otherwise it will be tomorrow. I left my camera at work.
