Thanked: 90I have a 686+ and I really love it. I don't like shooting anything .44mag. Something very uncomfortable about that caliber, and I don't know what it is. I've shot .454 Casull and .45 long colt and found them both much easier to control and a lot less jarring. Maybe they were heavier frames?

I used to carry a S & W .357 as duty weapon while working alarm response in LA. After that, was a .357 snubbie as back-up to .45

All I have left of my wheel guns, I moved on to single shots and have not been interested in others yet.
