I've recently picked up a FNX-9 for my dad and have a Walther PPS on the way for myself. I'm thinking a Hidden Alley holster from High Noon for a carry rig.

The Walther PPS is a nice gun. I had a PPKS (a little smaller) as a back-up for a while, but sold it because the slide "bit" my hand.

I feel your pain, I grew up about an hour from Springfield IL. Every year it seems it gets within a couple of votes of passing and then dies.

That's an ingenious "holster", does it provide enough friction for jumping jacks? I'm serious as I have never seen one like it till now and I'm thinking my NAA Pug 22mag would make a nice "necklace". Lastly, who made it?

Now don't slam me for this Redneck idea, but after looking at that holster, I suddenly want to make one out of thin PVC, heating and forming the fit.

It's made by Trojan Tactical (trotac.com). It's their "Bandito" holster.
It's just kydex molded to the trigger guard. It comes with 8-10" of paracord attached. I just loop it through my belt and tuck into my waist band when pocket carry wont work (small pockets, lots of junk to carry, etc). I also have sewn a loop into a couple of my bags that I carry when I have to carry off body and I just hook the loops together with a small s-biner and it keeps the trigger guard protected and as I pull it out of the bag the "holster" pops off.

I haven't tried bouncing it around a lot but if I get a chance this weekend I'll get my camera out and give it a go and post the test. Retention seems pretty good. Easily supports the weight of the loaded gun so I'm interested to see what happens.

I have one for my M&P 9c as well (goes in bags, I have a real holster for IWB with it).
Their kydex is reasonably priced. I think $40 for an OWB holster and I think these were maybe $12 each.

Their products ended up being more successful than planned and they stopped taking orders through Oct. 1 to catch up and get back to short lead times.

How many of you guys still carry a snubby?,I still use my mod.60 every now and again, and my boys just bought me a Crimson Trace laser grip for my birthday, and HOLEY COW !!! this is so far, the most incredable transformation of a gun I have ever seen. It has turned a very reliable but not very accurate firearm into one of the best point and shooters have ever played with. I've been practicing point shooting since I was a kid with a BB gun, and have many old broken flowerpots, doodads, and other decorations that my wife and my mother have yelled at me about. I was decent. But now I Am Invincible! With this grip I can pull a gun and drill a 3 inch group at about 15 to 20 feet so fast that it made my own jaw goes slack if you have the gun, and the means, I Strongly recommend one. It is probably one of the best yuks per Bucks toys I have gotten in years. I think my next two toys are going to be a pair for my model 19, and my commander, and even though I just got this I can't wait to get those.
