    Zemke,
I found a guy in Texas who can round the butt of the ultra sized (I now call them shirt eaters) kimbers to a round butt for about $200, pm me if interested. Makes it less profile and of course easier on the clothes. I just traded off my ultra the other day, but my carry 1911 has a smooth behind...Super Carry Pro

I have trouble deciding. Custom Caspain Recon .45 1911, DW Valor or VBOB in .45, DW ECO in 9mm, S&W 686+ 3" are my main choices. Waiting on a new cylinder for my S&W 327PC snubby and the holster for that one.

Put that vbob in your hands and you will know quickly. I have wheel guns for ccw, but for the same size I can carry more available rounds.

Add Kahr and the Sig P238 to that list of 'shirt eaters'. I stopped worrying about it and wear the 'holy' shirts anyway. Not sure if the G-27 is also a shirt eater cause the damage had already been done when I made that my primary carry.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanks for the offer!I normaly carry in a shoulder rig or a belt holster so shirt damage has not been a problem for me.

I've always wondered about a bobtail officer.

On another note how do you like the Super Carry Pro been thinking of giving my dad one for Christmas as he's been drooling over a high end 1911 since I was about knee height.
