I've only hit two balls really well, and that was when I accidentally stepped on a rake.

Thanked: 1587I was out on the course the other day when this guy rushed up and said that his wife has been stung by a bee and was having an allergic reaction. The bloke I was with asked where she had been stung and the fellow said between the first and second holes.
She must have a very wide stance...

Lynn and golf....
This adds a totally new meaning to shaving a few points of the game.
Me I have only played one round of golf 40+ years ago.
I broke 100 and called it good.

Thanked: 220Yes, I too am ready to chase a little white ball down 2 miles of grass! Still trying to get used to my hybrid irons though. They're accurate if you hit em' in the sweet spot, but if you don't.......
P.S. Lynn- Glad to hear your hips are in good enough order to hit the links!

What's a hybrid iron? I used to have a brassie and a 13-wood, and I can hit a decent shot with my cleek (when I play) and I've played with a Texas wedge, but I've never seen or used a hybrid iron
I played for about five years I guess, in high school and the year after, but since then I have pretty much become restricted to playing golf in my living room with an invisible club, ball, and golf course due to money and time constraints. It's not as rewarding but I've at least erased my handicapI never averaged better than the low to mid 80s even when I played a lot
Still, I love to play when I get the rare chance. There's something about golf that keeps me wanting to go back for moreFind me on SRP's official chat in ##srp on Freenode. Link is at top of SRP's homepage
