Now that I have 2 new hips, I am jonesin' to play more golf this summer. Got a new Rocket Blz 3 wood this year and I am ready. I play Ping G-5's and Volkey wedges with a 3 and 4 rescue wood in the bag. Also trying the new big grips on my putter this season.
You Guys ready for some golf???

Thanked: 2027Welp.you can spend a zillion bucks on hones in search of the perfect edge.
Now, the game of Goof,I play to a 14,even with a torn rotator cuff,on a good day.
DO NOT START BUYING GOLF CLUBS trying to improve your game,is almost as bad as getting into boats,a hole in the water your pour money into.have fun

Have a set of Ben Hogan irons, Talormade putter and Adams driver-5 wood reshafted in steel to cut down on a wicked, unfixable slice. Not a great golfer but I can sometimes hold my own. I have fun though which is all that matters.

Lynn I love those Volkey wedges. I have a set of mizuno irons that are blades and rather like a razor... When they're good they're amazing, but when they aren't you wish you could take that moment back. I used to play a lot when I was younger but I broke my back and my swing hasn't been the same since. Honestly I haven't played much the last couple of years but this summer I am going to get out as much as I can.

Thanked: 40Watch golf every weekend January thru April (Love to see golfers in short sleeves when there is snow on the ground). I'm waiting for the pins to be installed on the greens and the starters to check my tee times. Till then, the Masters are right around the corner. FORE!!!!!!!!!!!

Used to play to a 4 handicap, with a club championship to boot. Clubs are as follows:
Driver: Callaway FT-iQ 9 degrees
Utility Woods: 19, 22, and 25 degrees
Irons: Callaway X-22 5 through 9
Wedges: Callaway 53, 56, 64 degrees
Putter: Ping Anser 2
I'm getting on a bit, and now the handicap is 9, but I can only
get out once a week. Age and golf just don't mix.
It was a warm Winter, and I was able to play all through it.
