    Default Baseball

Coming from St. Louis, I have always been a Cardinals fan. It was great to see them win the series last year. Started off great this year but struggling now. So many injuries. I love going to baseball games. Just something about having a beer in a baseball stadium. We lived in Chicago for a few years and I loved Wrigley Field. Too bad there aren't more of the old ball fields still around for sure.

So, who's your team and how are they doing this year? Any wetshaving baseball fans out there?

    Have fun.

Whenever I have visited the States I awlays have caught a game of baseball. Its always been the Yankees at the old stadium mind you. I think I have seen them 6 times now so I guess I am a Yankees fan.

I'm a lifelong Reds fan, and as a Cardinals fan, I'm sure that you know how the Reds are doing.

I try to watch the Twins, but they have a real habit of developing talent and then letting it go elsewhere...

I did enjoy seeing them win the world series to the Cardinals in '87.

Been a White Sox fan since I can remember (dad was from the south side of Chicago). This was supposed to be a rebuilding year, however they are currently in first place and have won 14 of their last 16.

My Dad (although a Hoosier) was a life long St. Louis Cardinals fan. I remember him taking me to spring training games as a kid to watch the Cardinals battle the Big Red Machine (Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, etc.) of course back then the Cardinals had Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, etc. Those were some great games back in the day.

These days my Rays are consistently inconsistent. They'll go for long stretches where they can't seem to lose a game followed by longer stretches where they can't seem to win won. Although they're currently on top of the AL East, they've got lots of key players injured so their prospects for the playoffs are not good.

Die hard Yankee fan checking in. Growing up in DC, the home team then was Baltimore. But I fielded and batted lefty just like Don Mattingly. And when I was nine years old he was the best. We have a team and a stadium in DC now, but I think Camden Yards is much more worth the 45 minute drive. Plus the Yankees play there. I did as a kid see Mattingly play in the old Memorial Stadium vs the O's too. This season could look a lot better for NY as of yet. But hey, they're the Yankees, they'll make the playoffs.

I tend to lean toward teams where I've lived at over the years so in no perticular order are the Cubs, rangers, rockies, brewers, and Astros. (I actually love to hate the astros as the owners suck at trying to improve the team)
