Expensive as hell! You might get a cheap ticket, but that is all that is cheap. Last time I went a bottle of water was 6 bucks! Despite that, Baseball is such a great game! Love it and all the dedication of the fans. Folks seem to be more civil at baseball games. I have gone to my last NBA and NFL games!

I grew up going to the Dome and still love the Stros! I think the new management is finally on the right track though, after several really bad years. Looks like we have a lock on the top pick again too.

I like what you say! I hope so!
As a kid, about '69, I suppose, my Dad drove a Houston Gray Lines Bus part time. I went with often and we stopped at all the hotels, including the long gone Shamrock Hilton. We picked up a busfull and headed to the Dome. Myself and my Dad got slipped in thru a side gate for free! I roamed the place and got to know every vendor in the house!
Rusty Staub and Jimmy Wynn! One day I will find their picture autographs in my Mom's house I hope! I remember as we went by Allen's Landing area to put the bus up, we went by a lot of Hippies lying around. Shops with beads hanging in the doorways! I ran up and down the empty bus marvelling at them! Little San Francisco back then!
    Good Days!

I used to go see Nolan and JR Richards and Jose Cruz and Dickie Thon and company with my Dad. I remember Biggio's rookie year and Bags. We used to get mini season tickets. I loved it. My Dad still lives in the area but I'm in OK now and hardly ever get to see them, but I follow on the internet every day.

They started out doing well though, especially for a bunch of rooks. I like to think of last place as having a firm grip on the first overall pick.

And most 1st round picks end up being busts. How's the view of the Cubs from the basement? just kidding!

I actually read up on that last year, I think #1 picks would surprise you with their success rate, then the probabilities decline steadily after that.

We can't look up at the cubs, though we may have the worst record, they're still the cubs
