Went to Wrigley once. 1979 v. Pirates (WS Champs that year). Great place to watch a game, beautiful park, same old lousy Cubs. If you make it, you'll love the atmosphere. If you're into architecture, you may be impressed as well.

I know a first baseman in their minor league
system. He got to stay with the big club until they last day of spring training this year. Simply awesome hitter he is.

If he were truly an awesome hitter, he'd have won himself a job. I mean, every manager will overlook a horrible glove with a 0.750 BA.

Ha! In the AL they wouldn't have to. His glove is good as well though. He's in aa ball this season. They just wanted to give him a taste of the pitching in the bigs, he was coming from high a ball and still needs a little time to develop.
