I can't find it right now as streaming video is blocked at work but I know Rick Mercer did a pretty good thing on that Toronto storm.
And there's a definite wildcard in Ottawa traffic every year when the first snow hits: diplomats! There are cars with red plates all over the place, and not in a good wayLast edited by Cangooner; 08-03-2012 at 02:58 PM.

My history is a little different, I grew up in southern Illinois, so when I think of childhood and yoot it's a different kind of landscape in some ways. But a few months after college I moved to Chicago and have been here ever since (a long, long time now). I've gotta say, I love the Great Lakes. There is something about this part of the world that I don't know if you'd find anywhere else. And I got to know Michigan a little when my middle daughter went to college there (way south though, in Kalamazoo). I may not share your memories, but I can feel that bit of sadness for what you've had to leave behind. And hey ... winter beats summer, any time.

Ahhh, summer in MI: where the State Bird is the mosquito and the State Tree is the orange traffic barrel!
