Thanked: 1936New rifle I've been wanting for a long time
Some of you know that I'm one of those guys who loves to punch holes in paper, the smaller the grouping (5-shots...not three) the better. I've been wanting a M-14 or AR-10 for a long time. It has taken razors, stones, and other firearms sales along with some severe penny pinching over the last 1 1/2-2 years of my personal play $ to buy this baby from a seller on gunbroker...new in the box & they had it in hand. I had placed a order thru a Rock River dealer three months ago for a LAR-8 Predator HP & at first was told it would be less than two months. The latest update was that it would be the end of September or into October. I cancelled the order and started searching & this is what I came up with. I hope the wait was worth it! No, I didn't pay retail:
God Bless,
Scott

Nice rifle!
Years ago I had a friend who got the long version. When I saw it I couldn't believe my eyes cause it was so awesome.
Enjoy!

Thanked: 995The AR platform was originally designed for the 7.62 so going to the root is not a bad thing. The caliber is a little bit more than most folks would think was a varmint rifle, but that depends or your definition of varmint.
I think you need one of these: THE WORLDS MOST POWERFUL SNIPER RIFLE | Guns Lot
I mean...one shot - target disappears. No more four extra rounds to prove a thing. If you have an audience, look at them and ask "Any questions?"

Thanked: 3227Nice enough rifle alright but I prefer the FN FAL. The reason being too many years shooting it or more precisely the C1A1 8L series from Long Branch. I did get a chance to shoot an original AR 10 30 years ago, I think it was Dutch made, and found it OK. Just have never took a liking to the AR15/16 design.

Nice rifle! Much cooler than my Ruger 10/22. My two boys would love one of those.
Enjoy

Nice rifle. I have been wanting to get an AR-10 to go along with my AR-15. I also finally got a rifle that I have been wanting to get a 30-30 lever action. It is nice holding a rifle in your hands that you have been wanting to get for awhile. Sad thing is I still haven't taken mine to the range yet.

Thanked: 1936No javalena here, just feral hogs & I wouldn't hunt one without a large rifle. The .458 Socom I have is great for hogs here, but you are limited in rage to 150 yards or less...the .308 changes things. I'm a reloader, so I don't have to pay $25-30 a box for match grade ammo thank goodness. Who knows, this one may replace the .458 Socom...time will tell.
