To many to mention but I would say
Traffic - The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys (1971)
Talking Heads - Stop making sense (1987)
AC/DC - If You Want Blood (You've Got It) (1978)
And those 3 are equally loved
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Chronicle (1978)
Simple Minds -New gold dream (1982)
Supertramp - Breakfast in America (1984)

Thanked: 1195Some good picks, Max.
The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys is a great album, and the title song is definitely one of my favourite songs, not just by Traffic but period. An obscure choice for sure.
My only complaint about your list is that Breakfast in America was released in 1979, not 1984.

Thanks for noticing. My bad. Wrong copy and paste. Been listening to some Cream and Derek and the Dominos today :-)

The Beatles - Revolver
Radiohead - OK Computer (or The Bends or Kid A: I always need to finish those those if I start them)
Bob Dylan - Time out of Mind

I tried to think of three albums, my choice of with three changes depending on mood and time of day.
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground
Talking Heads - Fear of music
David Bowie - Low
Three pop albums/cds I keep in my truck. I have a weakness for catchy pop.
Beck - Mellow Gold
Dread Zeppelin - Un Led Ed
Dee Lite - World Clique
Charlie
