As Lynn pointed out,,age allows me to let a lot of headaches just walk on by.
But,,,
If someone purposely hurt my son, I would not be relying on the Authorities to bring justice, nor would I wait for God to direct karma toward that person.
Revenge does have it's rightful place, I don't like saying this & I do ask God to cover this weakness in my soul, but it's there never the less.

Thanked: 247I'm not big on revenge...but there are few things in life finer than kicking back and watching lady karma dish out justice. It never gets old.

You men are bigger than me...
I spent my childhood with an abusive father that beat my mom, my siblings and me on a regular basis.
That kinda instilled a wee desire to get back in a young lads mind.
I spent 12 years in MA with that in mind.
Well, the first couple of years was motivated by that at least before I came of age.
Now, I pity the old and very lonely man.
The last 32 years he has spent without any contact with what should have been his biggest joy in life, his kids.
Karma is a bi****...Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Karma is simply cause & effect. It is not directed by God/s IMHO, tho I always thought a little revenge happened in the following experience.
I was driving to a restaurant with a few people in my car. The truck in front dropped a piece of furniture, a lounge pillow, which I was unable to avoid thus damaging said item. The other driver followed me & when we stopped attempted to pull me out of my window breaking it & tearing my shirt.
A fight would have ensued but he & his co driver were outnumbered . I reported him to the police & was I compensated after a court case. The other driver had priors & received 6 months jail. Of course names & addresses were brought up in court. 6 months later our house was burgled.
The End.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 247God/s, nature, planetary alignment, dumb coincidence, whatever...it is wonderful to see this phenomena play out...and given enough time, it always seems to.
Sometimes we don't see it, sometimes we find out much later in life...but I am a believer. If you live by the sword, you will die by it. If you are a jerk to everyone you meet, sooner or later someone will introduce your whit to brute force. If you do something nice for others, you will probably find pleasure.
That is how it seems to work for me.
Revenge is never the answer or final word...at best it is a coma or a conjunction that precedes retaliation.
