I'm pretty "meh" about the whole thing. I'm OK with dropping the cash for the presale (it's the first time I've ever done such a thing) and I don't know I will be able to resist dumping it on ebay for a gazillion dollars when the thing arrives at my door. That's not why I bought it. I bought it because I like playing games!
Even the present Kinect has that creepy HAL factor, which is why I just turn the thing around to face the wall unless I'm using it... problem solved.

Lots of reasons not to like it.
Already outdated hardware at the time of release.
The whole game sharing issue.
The kinect issue.
The always online thing.
The price.
But all of that doesn't matter as long as YOU are excited about it and it'll be as good as you think it will be.
Personally I'll stick to my PC which cost me about the same price as an XB1 a couple of months ago and is a lot faster.
But like I said all that doesn't matter as long as you are getting what'll make YOU happy.

Thanked: 2284I've been a gamer for quite some time now. The used market has always been a major part of gaming. I jump back and play older games all the time on old system and its a lot of fun. Now what??????? Xbox is taking that away from us. I think its a bad move on their part. What about kids who save their allowence to buy these games?? To bad for them I guess. That alone would make me buy a ps4 for my kids.
Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

At the end of the day all the complaining about this or that doesn't make any difference. People will vote with their wallets. I figure if game sharing really is an issue, then once the initial wave of buying is over, and Microsoft sees sales plummet because kids can only buy a new game once a year, they will make a firmware change and a big announcement and all will be well with the world again. We should get a call in to the Dragonborn see if he can slay them.
