Thread: XBOX 1 Oh yeah!

let us know how you like it and it works ... i dont play online but me and my boys play a ton .. i used to have the xbox & ps2 because of games not available on one or the other .. my xbox(es) kept burning up so i went with the ps3 the last time around , i wont buy anything else unless that one goes on me , but with the cost of systems and games i may not buy anything after this one goes ..

I still have my original first gen Xbox which never got the red ring. I guess I was one of the lucky ones.

I game about 80/20 PC/Xbox but the games I do play on Xbox I spend hundreds of hours on.

After the fourth red ring I gave up and my Wii got toasted during an electrical storm. I have not purchased another gaming console. I just use my comp, which is becoming a dinosaur now. What to do.

Get stuff that's a year old on eBay. You can get the latest and greatest from one or even less than one year ago for pennies on the dollar and build a beast of a gaming rig.

Or just go AMD instead of Intel and save a lot.

Dude... 4 red rings. That's amazing. I could understand if you were hacking but not otherwise.

Seriously, four reds but it was over the course of 5 years. I got the red ring on the first after two weeks. The second one got it a year after that. Though I really should say three red rings and one just crapped out on me. The third would just stop displaying an image. There was a fix for it but it would not stick, going back to it's odd behavior. I think that one just got played to death. I mean I went on 24 hour gaming binge when Mass Effect came out. I did not cut the Xbox off and only went to the pot when necessary. I got the black Xbox and it got the red ring after one week. That is when I said f it.

I've had the Halo 4 Edition 360 since December and no issues.

i think my first or second xbox was the first HALO edition .. it was see through green .... it got the red ring issue
