My plan is to leave one side flat for a while and try to find an application where the flat side is advantageous over the bevel side. If I can't find that application then both sides may as well be beveled. So far there seems to be little difference in using one over the other.

OK, I'm sold on having both the flat and beveled discs. I've found that both shapes shine at different applications.
