Precision drill rod arrived, 5/8" 0.6250" and won't fit in my 5/8" pillow blocks or my step pulley... The rod on the motor fit the step pulley like a glove. Suggestions?

Do you have a Tractor Supply, Atwoods, or Orchelen's nearby? They are farm & ranch stores. You could also check with a tractor place like John Deere or the such...just thoughts.

Tractor supply don't carry it. Grainger does, but it has to be ordered and I want to try it. Got burned the last shaft I ordered.

Mic the id of the pillow block and step pulley. Then mic the od of the rod. If it's close, use emery paper on the rod until it fits.
