Thanked: 1587I don't know if it's the people I hang out with, but they don't think it's weird so much as scarey or lower socio-economic or something along those lines.
The typical response I get when I tell someone I use cutthroats is that I must be a bike-gang member who goes around administering the Chelsea Grin on people who look at me funny. Nothing could be further from the truth, of course. I've never been a member of a bike gang....
(what YOU lookin' at, mate?)

Thanked: 0Very nice to hear all that stuff
I wish more people that arn't familiar with "real" shaving will see it
I do think that every thing that goes with wet shaving, where it is a DE or a str8, is GREAT!
Pitty how many people I know spent something like 20$ a month or even more only for their blades for the Gillete
(Not include Gels and so on)
and after all of that, for a friction of the price, we get a much better shave
Funny, isn't?

Thanked: 0They are called sheeple and have no idea that they can think for themselves. Everybody dances in beat with the bass drum. If you look around sometimes you will see a person who hears the snare instead, they are just a little out of step with the rest.
If you look back at a lot of old tools they work very well, but they were expensive to make, Sound familier? Sure you can go buy a new cheaper razor, but it is not better, just cheaper. It does work just not as good, but "they" will convince you otherwise.
The only thing I want to do with a Mach anything is in relation to the speed of sound. Such as I'am flying at mach.92 or mach 2.5
Now be careful with that razor you'll shoot your eye out!!

Oh get off it X ,the fact is you are wierd and so are the rest of us. If a woman told you she enjoys taking her laundry outside and boiling it in a big kettle and then beat it with a big stick and then wrang it out with her hands and put it on the line to dry you would call her wierd and its no different than us. yea we can say were "green" and its enjoyable and we get a better shave and its cheaper ,but really now. There are people who live without electricity and they think thats keen and people who still ride horses and won't own cars and many other eccentric things but in the end we are all different whether you call that wierd or not its left up to the majority to put a label on that type of behavior. I don't know about you guys but personally I'm proud to be a wierdo. Hows that?

Thanked: 1587Right on Bigspendur! My (user) name is Jimbo, and I'm a weirdo too! Although, in the present company I don't feel like a weirdo - weirdo-ness is a relative term, I guess.
