If you can do the wax and still get them out easily, then you could try the devcon or similar. With that many irregularities, it could be tricky.

bed it straight in. Why would you want to remove it? if you must, use cheese cloth as a backer.

to be honest I never ended up doing it. I took the stones to a nice tile saw and flattened them on all sides. They are still quite large.
