Evening if I'm at the office the next day, if working from home....afternoon is my favorite time, when no-one is in the house!

I have a 5yr old. Evening when everyone is in bed. My last morning shave ended up with me posting in http://straightrazorpalace.com/shavi...0-cut-day.html

Also retired.
As a very early riser (I only need 4 or 5 hours of sleep) I dress and have coffee and start the day.
Around 7am I start the teeth brushing, shaving and other bath regimens.
The shower is done before bedtime. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Evening, in fact in about15 mins from now. i start work too early for morning shaves.
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Defintely agree with everything you mentioned. I am also an early riser, up at 5am as start work early so that doesnt really allow for too much time in the morning other than a quick shower. I like to take my time in the evening and chillax while shaving, very cathartic.

Thanked: 603I have always preferred a morning shave. Now, not shaving on a daily basis, it's become more like early-to-late afternoon. Nevertheless, shaving remains a "daylight-only" activity -- if for no other reason than that I enjoy having the remainder of the day/night to enjoy the smell of whatever afterscent I've chosen to use.
Smooth shaving! You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I am up at 4:30 am on work days. I had my shower the night before. If I am using my shavette I will use some noxema and a hot towel. If I use a DE then it's just some warm water and the soap for a great three pass shave. I do this seven days a week with no irritation unless my blade starts to dull. I am getting about seven good shaves out of a Feather.
Even if I do get a little irritation; within an hour it's gone and all I feel is the cooling from my "Margaritas in the Arctic" shave soap.
