How long could you go?
How long could you continue to shave with the products you currently have in your inventory?.... As in, if the world ran out of products right now how long could you shave with what you have. I figure I could go at least 4 or 5 years with 5 shaves a week.

In the event that there was an event to where there would never be any shaving products made again (assuming you are talking about creams, soaps, balms aftershaves...) I would just have to admit that it was a sign to grow a beard.

My stockpiles are staring to run low, but as of now, probably 15 years give or take a month or 2.

Maybe two years plus how ever long it takes to go through the three pucks of Williams Mug Soap - so maybe a decade.

maintaining a 3 shave per week routine I would say about
3 creams = 2+ years maybe
5 soaps = 4+ years maybe
strops, rocks & oxides should last at least a couple hundred years if I get my honing down pat & get all straights perfect & in rotation,
they would be looking coming up for use about twice a year
with the average age of my current straights already well over 100 years old each
I f I got another 100 plus out of each of them I would take a guess at about at least 7000 years worth of metal to go
Damn looking at it like that I might have to do Kull also LOLSaved,
to shave another day.

I could go indefinitely with everything but the shaving soap/cream. I am running low on that....but Christmas is close

Thanked: 4826In order to be accurate it would require me to actually take inventory, and I refuse. Balms and aftershaves about two years, soaps and creams I would think over five. That is of course not including soap that I have that I don't like to shave with that are awaiting their turn in the shower.

I could probably last with my current stash about 10+ years If worse came to worse like an apocalypse, which is the only way I see the world running out of products, I probably wouldn't even have time to shave. I would be too busy rustlin' for supplies, weapons and food while roaming the land. That's just my opinion lol.
