I like to collect. So right now I have too many (30+). I would say that 10 of the razors I try to put in my shave rotation. Which for me averages 3 shaves per week. The others are on display for me to enjoy and for my wife to make fun of. Also, I have shaved at least 2 times with all of them. I have pretty much slowed down considerably on accquring new razors.

I have been doing this for over 2 years now and I,m up to 11 razors, I shave every day so in the beginning I really went crazy( for me ) I was up to 15 , now since bought more than that , but most of the ones have been given away as starters or give aways on the forum, I see a razor that will make it for a new guy I get it and have it cleaned up, and honed. But for myself I have a couple that shave better than anything else and I have a 7 day set I'm working on just for my ego( but they shave so well they get used) but I really use those 2 razors 80% of the time, so really I just add another custom every now and then at my rate I'll have 50 by the time I,m 100. Thanked: 480Its been a while since I posted here, but I thought an update was in order. At this time I have enough razors that if I had the time to hone them all out, I could use a different blade each and every day of the year, plus spares for anybody else that wanted to come by for a shave.
But to be fair, I usually end up buying razors in lots of 6-15, because there is one razor in the pile that I really want, and the rest are just collateral damage for my wallet!

Right now I have a Griffin straight blade, Shavette, '58 Gillette Executive D-3, and that cheap safety razor that Rick from pawn stars is advertising on tv for (that one actually got me into shaving), and soon either a Merkur slant or futur

Thanked: 3795I really have no idea. It's somewhere in the range of 30 to 40 boxes plus some tool chests.

I must confess, I have no clue anymore.
What I do know though is that my collection is slowly shrinking.
Over the last couple of years I've given more away than I have bought.
Still a few left though, so no worries.
I'm not gonna grow a beard out of lack of razorsBjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....
