I did about the same thing once, except I used superglue instead of the ER, I probably needed stitches. It was such a clean cut I can't see the scar

Bummer Jerry, especially on Christmas Eve.
    Hope you heal up quick.
    Merry Christmas!

Its all good Mike. If i couldnt take the ribbing, i wouldnt have posted up and told of my stupidity.
To all, just dont try and handle a razor and multiple other things in your hands at the same time. Thats where i went wrong.

I feel like i got ripped off. Got bandages off and only found 4 stitches. Ha. She lied to me. Guess it wouldnt be the first time the doc did me wrong.

And just to let you all know, i shaved with the razor that cut me that day in the evening. Figured it didnt hit bone so a bit of cleaning the blood off then some more stropping. Im just stubborn that way. Got a great shave from it.

I'm in the habit of always closing the razor. Not only is it safer, it is also a respect thing that keeps reminding you how sharp these things are. I open and close all through my shaving and honing sequences.

If it was deep there might be stitches under the skin. There is material that will dissolve.
More and more doctors are using glue and steristrips.

Glad you got a great shave from it...
