Default Headed to New York City next week. Pasteur's Pharmacy is on the agenda!

    Aloha!

Headed to New York City next week. I certainly will make the trek to Pasteur's and enjoy some wet shaving nirvana.

I thought about NOT bringing any of my usual wet shaving shaving gear and buying all new wet shaving gear at Pasteur's, however, I really want my gear with me. So I'll just ADD to it. I'm checking a bag anyway, so in goes the DE blades and straight razors..... and strop and barber hone and.... well, you all know.

Pics of Pasteur's and my set-up in my hotel bathroom forthcoming next week. Stay tuned.

    Mahalo gents!

Please take a few photos, and enjoy your trip. I keep looking for an excuse to go to New York so that I can check out Pasteur's.

Photos and trip report forthcoming. I'm not sure which day(s) I'll be at Pasteur's, but whenever that is (next week), the photos and report will be posted here that night.

If you're downtown you may want to check out C.O. Bigelow and Santa Maria Novella as well

Penhaligon's has boutiques at Rockefeller Center (L'Occitane is opposite of it, and next door is Teuscher chocolates ) and WTC. The bottom floor at Saks has many high end perfumers like Creed and Diptyque all in one place if you like that.

Enjoy your stay and we're looking forward to seeing all the goodies you pick up

NYC was where it all started for me. Albeit via an AoS store. I walked in, smitten with their sandalwood, I walked out around $250 lighter. The rest is history.

There used to be a C O Bigelow in Columbus, Ohio. I used to do business there and my web hosting provider and VPN service provider are based there. Les Wexner (owner of The Limited and Victoria's Secret) put up a stellar outdoor shopping mall called Easton Center on the outskirts of Columbus on the east side. He had one of his Bigelow stores there and I LOVED it. I think Wexner owns Bigelow - or at least I think he used to own it. So YES, I will definitely be at C O Bigelow's. I need to pick up their brand of Proraso cream as I'm running VERY low.

Thanks for the other tips. I guarantee you, sir, I WILL check them out. I greatly appreciate you posting them.

The Big Apple started many loves for me. I bought my first real "Stereo" at Sam Goody in NY. I've since spent a fortune on Audio equipment and Vinyl records. I bought my first Straight Razor in NY. My very first was my Grandfather's Solingen, but the first one that I bought was from a shop in NY many moons ago. My first 35 mm camera and my former love of photography was from Wolf Camera in New York. Spent a fortune there as well. The list goes on. It's shopping mecca.

    You gotta' love New York.

    Boy....I had a gander at Pasteur's online. It's brain-boggling!
I never knew such a place existed. You're gonna need a bigger basket!
