Congrats to Lynn, the mods and staff, and all the members here who help folks out every day with their questions, spread the word about straight razors, and help us have a lot of fun. As a mod at one of those newer forums, I have a small idea of how much work it takes to keep something like this running. Kudos to all!!

I heartily concur with all of your comments, gentlemen! What a great resource for straight shaving information, and a place of camaraderie.

That sure is impressive. For starters I'd like to thank Lynn for starting this whole shabang, Joe for putting in so much work to keep it going, Dave for running the gears and pulleys, all of the mods for doing their best to keep things friendly and all of the members for making it such a great community and a second family to me

They'll never do it because that would be to admit defeat.
Though I never understood why there is no marketing for e.g. feather razors which seem to be fine pieces of modern day craftsmanship.

    Default Hoorah!

This website is an icon, really. I've never found a better website for info, help, encouragement, not to mention a joke or three.

I may, or may not, have started shaving with a straight razor without this site, but I am not sure I'd have stuck with it without this site. And, I keep coming back to learn more, hear the stories, and occasionally add my 2 cents worth. I still remember my dad's response when I said I'd started shaving with a straight razor. "What, they still make those things?"

Keep up the good work. Maybe a lot of the world will come back to their senses and realize the satisfaction and pride of shaving well with a straight razor. Not to mention I now have a few family heirlooms to pass on. So kewl.
