Shaving article in paper.
Saw this and thought of when I gave my wife a Gillette Fat Boy and told her NO PRESSURE!
she had stripes on her legs for weeks!!!!

Personally I think ANY media attention brought to straight razor shaving (done seriously) is a plus. But I think the piece probably has to be written by someone that actually uses one. This article is only a fluff piece. I really wish someone from here that's a journalist would write one. Otherwise the article runs the risk of simply pandering to some mass-marketing segment of society. Sort of like reporting on an oddity. Hell we're resurrecting a wonderful experience that went by the wayside for millions of men. Slowly but forcefully it's coming back into the mainstream consciousness - so I'd like to see someone that loves the experience write about it in order to bring more guys back into the fold. Hell, membership here should be 10 million fold higher (OK we may need to chip in for more servers...)

Thanks Gratewhite, that article was a pretty good one, for a change. I thought the questions Ray asked cut right to the chase. There is for sure a level of commitment that many of the non-do-it-yourself people just aren't going to be into.
