Thanked: 3Frederick Reynolds?
Is anyone familiar with this Sheffield brand razor? Here is an example:

They're a well known maker. Often you'll see them in chopper form.
That one looks like it has a bit of a frown, so plenty work honing, if it does.

+1 on the frown. I would avoid this one. Frederick Reynolds in general are good quality Sheffield razors. I have a few of them, and they take a good edge. I do prefer Greaves Sheaf Works over Reynolds, as a personal preference.

Fred Reynolds is a good maker, but this one looks like a project.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

A quite popular brand, great Sheffield steel, but as everyone has said.... The frown doesn't help. I'd pass on this one.

I don't think you can. If you do win it, you've got yourself a project!

Well, yes, that's the other way of looking at it!
You may get outbid. Otherwise, just see what you can do with it. I've seen far worse restored to shaving loveliness.
