Thanked: 1does anyone know of any straight razor companies in India ?? from what i know, there arent any and the ones that existed in the pre-independence era are all gone.
Barbers here mostly use the straight razors with a disposable blade/Shavettes. If anybody knows where i can find a straight razor here, please let me know

Thanked: 1I thought so too but sadly thats not the case. That is why even the age old barbers in India use shavettes, i suppose the custom of stropping and honing doesnt appeal to people here anymore
And the worst part is that most straight razor manufacturers wont even ship to India

Could be there actually were lots of nice razors left but they used them up.
Here in Sweden the DE with disposable blades took over so fast, the straight razors were stopped dead in their track and just put away.
