And the Clinique stuff doesn't leave me feeling oily either which is something I hate about inferior moisturisers.

Thanks for all the help, fellas!
Though things seem to be evenly divided between "moisturizer can make it go away" and "I love it!"
This only ever happened to me with the straight razor, I guess because of the closer shave. It was weird going down to eat afterwards, felt like my face would break.

Thanked: 15I noticed this too and posted a similar question on another forum http://www.shavemyface.com. I think shaving with a much sharper razor (straight, DE, etc) takes off more of the dead skin on the face than say a M3 or typical disposable razor.
My skin definately feels different shaving with these instruments vs. the cartridge razors.
