So how goes things? Got pics? Possible ETA yet?
    I've been goofing off...

Actually, There are still only so many hours in the day. Maybe if I could get some volunteers to come finish painting and cleaning up around this house, I could get to it faster.

Here's where I'm at on those. Hey... a start is a start

If I was in California I'd be there. My little brother is attached to the Naval unit in San Diego...but he's not much into razors. As for the "start is a start" just seeing the little razor profiles drawn out on the stock gives me hope

Once you get the details bugged out a bit have you considered having blanks water jet cut to save time?

That's a start. It makes me think Are you planning to video document this process? At least lots of photos I hope.

    Gawker,
Just remember how long CA is; it's about a 6-hour drive from San Diego to Fresno.

    Bill,
I grew up in Merced. Most of my mom's family (and my dad) still lives there.
By the way, I voted that this is a really cool idea, but I'm way too new to get the full benefit. Thanks, though!

I'd be very interested in this too. Perhaps a DVD we could buy from your site?

As for trying the razor - I'm in Canada too, but haven't even received/used my first straight yet. So although I like the idea, I have to pass for now.

    Hi Bill,

I'm interested, but I'm in Asia? Very bottom of the list would be just fine by me.

    I'm in.

Very cool . . . Looks like you have your work cut out for you, but what a great idea. I can't wait to see how you detail the steel.
