You're all lucky Dr Spendur is out of town this week. He could have a field day with you folks. No one knows what shaving afflictions he has. It's a state secret.

Thanked: 74I only got the bug for razors. I have ~20 in shave ready shape, a couple on the workbench and 6 more coming from ebay.
I have 7 different hones, but I don't really count that as an AD. I got a sweet deal on 3 of them from an antique store. The other 4 are the grit progression I use on all my razors.

Thanked: 45I guess I'm little different than the rest of you in that it really irritates me to have anything that I don't actually use. I bought 4 vintage razors ONLY because I have a Norton combo stone I use to refresh my woodworking tools collecting dust. Even now I'm trying to figure out what to do with my extra barber stone and DE razor as they are being used.

No, that sounds like me too. I wonder why I have so many razors (5) when I really only use one Cutthroat and one DE, leaving 3 razors out in the cold most of the time.
I could just add them to the rotation of course...except I'm lazy and I do look forward to using something different occassionally.

I definitely have serious AD issues with:
Razors
Soaps
Brushes
I do not have any AD issues with:
Strops (I have one)
Aftershaves (I currently have two)
Creams (I currently have 3)
For a second I got AAD (Alum Acquisition Disorder) but then I realized how ridiculous that was and I stopped at 3 different alum blocks.

Thanked: 70Not really.
I tend to pick up quite a few items, choose the one or two that work for me and unload the rest.
Then I move on to the next.
