Is there filework on the back of these razors? Looks like a very clean design too.

Yes. The file work on the blade back is great. Actually the picture of the Bergischer Lowe that CS has gives a better idea of the blades shape. It's a great looking razor.

Yes there is file work on the spine of these razors. I just got mine yesteday. It is a very nice looking razor. I really like the blade design. It has "Classic Shaving made by Dovo Solingen Germany" on the front and " Ray Dupont 1951-2006" on the other side. The scales are a white bone with some dark spots here and there. In fact I stropped it and it shaved right from the box. I tell you the tin box that it came in is very attractive. It is a dark metallic blue with Dovo Solingen on it. The inside is foam rubber that the razor fits in.
Ray did a wonderful job in designing these razors.if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.
