Thanked: 2209Hello all,
I guess I will repeat what I said in the original post about restraint. The purpose of these drawings is to provide a chance for new guys or financially hard pressed members to obtain a well honed straight razor to start with. So many people have given up on our hobby because they have never had a well honed, quality razor to shave with. Initially they bought poor quality Pakistan made razors or did not have the financial resources to purchase the necessary gear.
So, that being said, if you need a razor then by all means put your name in here!Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

Sounds like a great idea (seeing as I'm one of those poor college kids).
Please Sign me up.
Thanks.

Thanked: 0Hi,
well, given my "successes" in shaving and especially honing (don't you tell me that these two go together ) I would love to have a razor honed by ours truly honemeister as a reference for my own efforts.
That said, in the case that I would be lucky I would pass this razor on to some other newbie after I learned my lesson.
Thanks,

Please count me in. I've been a member for about 5 months and don't have anything to get started yet. This is what I've been waiting for.

Hi put me in the running, please! Lack of good quality gear (and the fact that I was the only person I knew who even *thought* about using a straight razor so I didn't have anyone to learn from) chased me out of the hobby the first time 20 years ago. Don't intend on letting that happen again
