Check the bottom of your shoes before you go out. Some best men like to write help me on the soles, so when you kneel...

Randy also forgot to mention the ball and chain attachment for your ankle. You might want to shave your ankle before it goes on, because it never comes off.. lol

JL, i have managed to find one that really gets my wife, but she can't find fault with it. When she asks me about something I will tell her, If that will really make you happy then i am ok with it. It really fires her up. After 12 years i had to find something other than the "yes, dear"

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Don't worry after about 5 years you will get used to the weight of the ball and chain.

I would feel like I was cheating on my straights with a 2 cent whore if I used my DE again, and my barber shop is so far away from my house (2 hours, dont ask), that I just dont have the time with the summer beach traffic on that day. I am going to be in northern jersey / new york and I cannot find a barbershop salon or anything else that even offers straight shaves...so I dunno what to do...any suggestions?
Are you going to be in NYC? Art of Shaving gives str8 shaves.

In any case, I find that when I go back to a DE after using str8s for a while, I'm more likely to cut myself with a DE, because of the different technique that requires getting used to. Try the DE for a day or two before and get used to it again. Take it easy on the blade exposure, and lay off the pressure.

I still use a DE regularly, and I would never consider it a 2 cent whore, but more like my first love. With a fresh, good quality blade it should serve you well. Besides, certian razors loaded with a Feather blade are easily competitive with (dare I say, shave closer than?) a str8. The only str8 that's in the hunt at that point is the Feather.

I will be close to AOS, but I decided to shave myself with this razor: http://www.shavingshop.com/index.php...6category%3D33

I will be less nervous cause I will be focusing on my new wonderful razor. Or at least thats what I'll tell the fiance when she sees it

If this is your first shave with large razor, you might reconsider your decision. Or start practicing. Or don't shave at all Just trying to scare ya, but seriosely, try it first, it can be a large bite...

That one is a lot easier and saferto shave with than some of my smaller ones. It's got a great sharp edge that lasts. It just commands a lot of respect, so you're less likely to be careless, but when you feel how smooth it shaves you cand become very comfortable with it. You just have to like the heft and size.

Im gonna give it a trial run a few days before. It is the biggest I have used, my normal razor is a 6/8. I'll have to see, worst case scenerio I got an excuse to get a new razor. I signed the marriage license yesterday and I think my hand was shaking lol, if I am anything like that then shaving will be out of the question!
